Where to eat cheap in Bangkok?
Beer Garden - Soi 7, just off
Sukhumvit. I went there there for
dinner every day and only spent
about 160 Baht. Off season about
30 freelancer girls to every guy.
Many of these girls can be found
at the Nana disco later or
Thermae Coffee House. Most are
mid 20's to mid 30's. Not exactly
the youngest or prettiest girls
but I'd often buy one a drink for
some conversation. But I never
met one I liked enough to take
back to the hotel. Their health
status is suspect and many use
an inhaler to snort a type of
drug. Many of these girls have
normal day jobs and can speak
English.
Subway - on Sukhumvit between
Soi 7 and Soi 11. Western style
food that will fill you up and only
cost 120 Baht. The girls outside
(some ladyboys) will try to get
you to buy them a beer. This is a
rough and ugly set of girls. Look
but don't touch!
7/11 - There is one practically on
every street. Grab a hotdog,
coke and candy bar and only
spend a 100 Baht.
Food Land - Your local grocery
market. A couple of Soi's over
from the Beer Garden.
